Absolute peace and quiet - staying here was the nicest thing I've done for myself probably ever. I booked a weekend and ended up staying an extra night because it was so relaxing.
Everything was extremely clean and the bedding was fantastic. The house has all the necessities and there are some great organic foods available from local farms as well as a terrific food co-op that is in the next town over.
I did the juice cleanse that Heather offers and the cold pressed juices were excellent. There's a great studio in the house for morning yoga and the sauna was amazing.
Heather was great - she took care of everything and anything that I needed and she's a great listener!!! I will definitely be going back, hopefully for a little longer next time :)

The Wellness Spot retreats include: private lodging, morning yoga/meditation, and unlimited infra-red sauna. Massage, health coaching, detox drinks and other services are additional. The basic retreat is two nights/three days, but you are welcome to stay longer!
The Wellness Spot is boutique with only three guest rooms, an open concept kitchen-living room, and a large space with vaulted ceiling for yoga and other activities. All guest rooms have extra-comfortable queen beds and a minimalist but warm decor that carries throughout the house. The place is immaculately clean. Our bedding is luxurious hotel quality cotton, with down comforters and pillows.
Our cleaning and personal care products, and our homemade laundry soaps are chemical-free and made with essential oils.
Now The Wellness Spot is a dedicated retreat for women, but over the past few years it has earned "superhost" on AirBnB with excellent reviews from over 200 guests from all over the globe.
I welcome you to use this retreat as it suits you on your own journey toward better health and vitality. Do you want to spend the day at the ocean, or kayaking on the river, or walking the nearby wooded trails? Do you want to nestle in bed with a good read, or just sleep? Do you want to indulge in saunas and massage and foot soaks? Do you want a new environment to begin a healthier diet, take a break from some old bad habits, or practice intermittent fasting and yoga? Do you want to do a deep dive into a health consultation? Maybe all of the above. It's up to you!
You may also initiate the anti-aging program during your stay, but again, it's up to you! If you are looking for other health-minded services and treatments during your stay (such as chiropractic, acupuncture, naturopathic, Reiki, EFT, hypnotherapy, float tanks) let me know. Maine has a growing community of very good practitioners.
You can book your retreat dates through AirBnB or contact me directly. The prices ($190-$250 for two nights/three days) vary based on the type of room you select (downstairs with private bath/sauna or upstairs with shared bath/sauna).
A note on booking fees/cancellation policies: AirBnB will charge you additional fees and taxes and will charge me a 3% fee.

Every morning at 8am, the "big space" is reserved for yoga.
We provide yoga mats, towels and water. The sessions are guided by an online yoga instructor, on a large flat screen in the "big space." This setup allows us to be flexible in styles and levels of yoga.*
The 8am sessions are beginner hatha and yin style. If you (and other guests) want a different style or level, you are free to change instructors. If you would prefer to practice without the online instructor that is possible, too.
Please be mindful that some guests may be exploring yoga for the first time! And some guests may have very personal reasons for practicing yoga beyond movement ...
